Case Study: Sunny Hill Cafe has a healthy appetite for training
Sunny Hill Café is a small family run café that places great importance on staff training and food hygiene standards.
Sunny Hill Café opened their doors to the public in 2001. They are a small independent family run café located in a scenic park in Hendon, Northwest London. Sunny Hill Cafe serve a fusion of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Cuisine appealing to a broad clientele. The dishes are all freshly made in-house by professional chefs and served by friendly staff in a homely, cosy log cabin setting providing an escape from the daily hustle and bustle of London.
Our challenge was how to fit in essential staff training around the day to day demands of a busy café environment
As a busy local café restaurant, Sunny Hill Café recognise that staff training is key to running a successful business. New inexperienced staff understandably require an early injection of skills such as Health and Safety, Allergen Awareness, Food Hygiene, Customer Service and First aid at Work. They invest in longer term staff who are offered annual refresher training to ensure their skills remain current and relevant.
With so much choice, the public demand high levels of customer satisfaction and hygiene
With a strong focus on training Sunny Hill Cafe can ensure that their staff are properly armed to provide a great customer experience. Staff are confident in their knowledge of and can demonstrate care for, the products and services they provide to customers whilst maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
