Overview
This course outlines the requirements to become a childminder - including registering and working within Ofsted's guidelines. There is also training on the important topics of the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding. This course is a great first step for future qualifications and helps meet Ofsted's training requirements (Note: This course uses England's EYFS Framework).
Working as a childminder is a very rewarding career but it also comes with many responsibilities, especially in respect of Ofsted and complying with their Framework. (Note: This course uses England's EYFS Framework. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each have their own versions).
By taking this course you will be able to demonstrate to OfSted that you are taking seriously the training requirements of the framework.
Candidates will undertake an online multiple-choice assessment and will receive a certificate if successful (any certificates from an official awarding body are sent to you via email).
