To get this course underway, we introduce the concept of the fire triangle, that is the 3 elements that, when combined, create a fire. We will also look at the different types of fire extinguishers that are used for different types of fire.

In this section, we focus on the different hazards and risks that fire can present, as well as its common causes.

Safety in the Workplace
Now we will turn our attention to how fire safety can be improved in the workplace, from understanding different risks that exist in different workplaces, to the role of a fire warden.

In the penultimate unit of this course, we explain the steps of a fire risk assessment.

The final unit of this course outlines emergency evacuation procedures, including your role in an evacuation, what to do in a fire drill, and the process of contacting emergency services.
